After you have finished the first year of Programming you can apply to take a test of your programming skills and see if you are ready to do the Android and iOS path.
We hope you pass because we make the most money from the Android and iOS paths but whether you can start these paths are totally dependent on your exam scores.
If you want to do any of these advanced paths then you can't just float by, you have to work extra hard in your Python class by doing more than what the instructor asked.
In this sequence you will learn Java and Swift and maybe Kotlin, Dart and Objective-C as the programming languages to make your Android and iOS apps! You will be fluent by the time you graduate.
You will also learn how to use many tools like Android Studio, GameMaker: Studio, Xcode, Simulator, etc (the exact ones will depend on your instructor and needs).
Note: For the third through the fifth year you will have MANY opportunities to work on REAL work projects which will earn you a percentage. The amount of percentage depends on how much work you do on the project.
You will learn all phases of the project so that you will be very valuable when you graduate.
You will learn Management tips on how to communicate with your co-workers and underlings. You will learn what is expected of a team lead and how you have to manage the entire project.
Late in the fourth year and all of the fifth year, you will be be put in charge of other students and you will have the opportunity to make your own apps. You will earn the most money in year 4 and 5 of all the other students because your parts will be the biggest.
Note: Because this path requires a LOT of work, it is ok if you want to switch over to JUST the Android or iOS path. You can do this at any time without any problems. However, if you stick with this program and do a good job you will have a wonderful portfolio that will put you in demand with a HUGE salary!
